Business Development Manager

Your role as Business Development Manager is to grow condominium unit inventory for the Castle Resorts & Hotels Brand and the new Castle Vacation Rentals Brand, leveraging the unique selling attributes of our technology platform through specific vacation rental channels (VRBO/HomeAway, Airbnb, etc.) providing Castle with a competitive advantage in which to grow our inventory.   

You will solicit within on-site condominium rental programs to grow and be placed into the Castle Resorts & Hotels Brand and off-site individual owner units into the Castle Vacation Rentals Brand.

You will also develop strong relationships with all condominium owners and real estate brokers and assist VP of Business Development in producing solicitation materials for both brands.

Job Description: 

Primary Responsibilities/Essential Functions 

1. Work closely with the VP of Business Development to develop compelling new property solicitation proposals and presentation resources/tools highlighting Castle expertise and capabilities.

2. Develop strong and compelling differentiation on why owners should switch to Castle with a value proposition. 

3. Prepare presentation package to present to potential owners highlighting CRH and CVRH’s expertise and experience.

4. Become experienced in condominium rental agreement provisions 

5. Leverage unique selling attributes of Castle’s technology platform. 

6. Assist in the development and implementation acquisition plan for the Castle Vacation Rental Brand to include growth though individual owner sign-ups through the VR website and via solicitation mailings. 

7. Develop an internal growth solicitation plan in conjunction with the VP of Business Development for existing resort condominiums under CRH Brand targeting owners not current in the Castle rental programs. 

8. Join and become active member of local associations and/or business networking organizations to enhance visibility of the Castle Brands.

Qualifications:

Effective communication and relationship building skills. Able to take direction efficiently from VP of Business Development. Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure. 

  1. Experience: At least 3 years of condominium resort and/or hotel property management and development experience with an understanding of development and regional economics. Giving and assembling presentations.
  2. Knowledge: Good understanding of condo/hotel operations, sound business acumen. 
  3. Education: Bachelor degree in related field or equivalent work experience.

Reservations Sales Agent needed at our Honolulu corporate office for the Castle Vacation Rentals Hawaii Reservations Department. We want you! Recently opened position in our Reservations Sales Call Center! Castle Vacation Rentals Hawaii, a fun family-oriented company, is looking for a self-motivated, sales-minded, customer-focused and detail-oriented Reservation Sales Agent to join our growing team. Develop positive relationships with guests and partners, communicate effectively on the phone and via email, and give the best possible advice and recommendations to book a Castle Vacation Rentals Hawaii vacation experience.

Job Description: 

Primary Responsibilities/Essential Functions

  1. This leadership role is key to the Castle’s success in this market and will lead and be responsible of every aspect of the day-to-day operations and P/L.
  2. The GM will work with existing Castle resources to power the brand including marketing, operations, guest communications, owner relations, and business development to exponentially grow the Castle Vacation Rental program.
  3. Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to; owner relations and communications, guest services, safety and security of the owners, guests, and employees.
  4. Must be results oriented, practice an involved, communicative leadership style of management, able to evaluate, plan, and direct to achieve goals and objectives, identify and solve problems through coordination and follow up.
  5. Must utilize a participatory team approach.
Qualifications:

Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily the requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.

  1. At least 3 years of proven expertise and work experience in the Vacation Rental industry or equivalent entrepreneurship experience in the hospitality industry.
  2. Proven experience in ability to generate leads and close sales.
  3. College 4-year degree in Travel Industry management or Communications and/or legal preferred.
  4. Proven experience in hospitality operations including, but not limited to housekeeping, maintenance, owner relations.
  5. Solid understanding of revenue management principals, distribution channel strategies with emphasis on VR channels.
  6. Proven experience in managing operational and marketing budgets as well as overall PnL.
  7. Entrepreneur at heart with the ability and desire to work for a start-up brand with an agile approach to all aspects of the operation.
  8. Able to multi-task, prioritize projects, meet deadlines and assure high levels of quality and accuracy.
  9. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  10. Must possess great analytics and decision-making skills. Experience or willingness to work in an agile team environment.
